Description

Matagamon Gate is the northern entrance to Baxter State Park, accessed from Patten via Route 159. Less busy than Togue Pond Gate. Provides access to South Branch Pond, Trout Brook Farm, and the park's northern wilderness. Gate hours: 6 AM - 10 PM (summer).
