Loading Files on Your Device

Garmin Devices

  1. Connect your Garmin via USB.
  2. Copy .gpx files to the Garmin/GPX folder.
  3. Safely eject and restart your device.
  4. Waypoints appear in the Waypoint Manager.

Gaia GPS / AllTrails

  1. Download the .gpx file to your phone.
  2. Open the file — it will offer to import into the app.
  3. Or use the app's Import feature and select the file.

Google Earth

  1. Download the .kmz or .kml file.
  2. Double-click to open in Google Earth.
  3. Placemarks with campsite data will load automatically.

Avenza Maps

  1. Download the .gpx file to your phone.
  2. In Avenza, tap Layers > Import.
  3. Select the .gpx file to overlay on your map.
