About This Campsite

1 Campsite, large enough to accommodate a group of 8 people. 1 Fireplace 1 Picnic Table 1 Outhouse Comments: Shady Campsite is a nice site that offers a view of Katahdin from the landing. If the lake isn't rough this can be a good spot to cross the lake to Lock Dam. If it is rough, stay on the west shore and paddle further north before crossing the lake.
