About This Campsite

3 Campsites, 2 sites large enough to accommodate groups of 12, and 1 site large enough for a group of 6 people. 3 Fireplaces 3 Picnic Tables 1 Outhouse Comments: Pillsbury Island Campsite is a very nice campsite that is protected from the prevailing northwest wind. The sites are surrounded by broad leaf trees, which offer shade in the summer. The middle site offers a wonderful view of Woodman Cove. This site marks the northern terminus of Thoreau's trip in 1857.
