About This Campsite

1 Campsite, large enough to accommodate a group of 12 people. 1 Fireplace 1 Picnic Table 1 Outhouse Comments: Fred King Campsite is lightly used during mid-summer because it is out of the direct line of travel for people doing the Allagash trip. Fishermen like it in the spring and fall because the site is protected from the prevailing northwest wind and there is good fishing nearby in Snare Brook. This site offers excellent moose and other wildlife viewing during the morning and evening in Snare
