Description
The Kelley Dam Electronic Gate is a 24 hour checkpoint open May thru Novembers. Visitors can self-register at this location for access to the 3.5 million acre North Maine Woods region. Visitors may also pre-register or purchase passes at Bishop's Store in Jackman.
Important
- • All recreational vehicles must register and pay fees at a checkpoint.
- • Logging trucks always have right of way on all roads.
- • Maximum speed 45 mph. No motorcycles, ATVs, or bicycles.
